Day 20

I thought it was Friday this morning, but it’s only Thursday.  I am so worn out, and I’m still sick.  At the Mennonite community we went to the church and had lunch outside on a beautiful day–we had some kind of spitzel that was amazing.  Then we had homemade ice cream made from the strawberries in the field we walked past earlier, and the cow down the street!  it was the most incredible ice cream I’ve ever had…next to that awesome stuff we had in Vienna.

Then we wandered around the quaint village of Geisburg and went to a family cemetery.  Stephen and I just sat down and talked for a long time about the wonderful things that God has been teaching us on this trip.  We also talked about the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and how that looks.  This has all stemmed from some great lectures we’ve had from Dr. Cornman for our Reformations class that we’re taking while here.

Yesterday we went to another amazing village.  It’s supposed to be one of the most beautiful villages in France, and I believe it!  I don’t know what it’s called, only that it’s located in Alsace.  We also had caricatures of ourselves drawn….they don’t look like us:-\
